Snowman and Countdown

This was a gift for Jessica's school. The name of the school, Kiddie Academy, was cut, embossed with snowflakes, and inked. I also added a matching card. :)

The year 2009 is about to end. Time sure flew fast this year yet again. I want to thank you all the visitors to my blog for your support this year, for thinking my place is worth visiting and for all the comments you left behind. I hope I can inspire and share more with you in the year to come and look forward to seeing you here again.

Wishing you all a very very happy 2010!

xoxo,
June

Meeting Annie and June

Jessica loves watching Little Einstein, so she was very excited to see June and Annie at Mickey's Trick-or-Treat Party. I don't think Jeff knew them, but nonetheless, he was very happy to get candies from them. :)

Autopia

For sure, Jeff's favorite ride at the Disneyland is Autopia. He was smiling the entire time while riding this ride. I really love Martha Stewart's loops border punch that I used it again here.

Slide

Jessica and Jeff both love slides. They can play for hours just sliding down and cracking up. This was a very fun page to make. I used Martha Stewart's loop border punch, and the slide was cut at 5 1/2".

Choo Choo

Jeff loves cars and trains, so it's no wonder he went straight to the train ride at the Harvest Carnival. He kept on saying, "Choo, choo" while riding this ride with the biggest smile on his face, so that's how the title for this page became "Choo Choo". I used Martha Stewart's train border punch for this page, which worked out perfectly.

Mulan

I didn't have to do much for this page since the paper itself was pretty enough. Mulan was fairly easy to make compared to the other princesses as well.

Pocahontas

I rarely see Pocahontas at Disneyland, so I guess my nieces were pretty lucky to be able to meet her there. I have really used Sonya's cartridge to the fullest. I have made a Pocahontas page for my nieces using her cartridge again. The eyes again were the most difficult part to put together. I'm starting to love this cartridge, but it's about time to return it to her. :p

Gift Bag

This is my first attempt ever to make the gift bag from scratch, and the very first one went to my dearest friend, Amy! She's such a cool girl that it was definitely worthwhile to make one for her. I used the same paper I used for the Pajama Day page since it was double-sided, and it was such a pretty paper. Since it was a flower paper, I cut out a flower gift tag as well. :) Happy birthday, Amy!

Happy Halloween

I like making a scrapbook pages for my dear nieces, and here's one that I just made. The photos are actually from last year, so it's about time I finish it, right before this year's Halloween. :) Because they were wearing different colored costumes, it was difficult to decide on the paper colors. I have cut out Aurora, Ariel, castle, pumpkins, and spider, and I have also used some stamps (jack-o-lanterns and spider web) on this page.

We rode an elephant

Jessica was extremely happy to ride the elephant at the Asian Expo. After the ride, she kept on telling me how it was like to ride an elephant. I developed the photo in 8x12 to emphasize the size of the elephant. I used some flower brads on this page.

Hunny

Jessica enjoyed going to Disneyland with Leilani. I wanted to make something with Winnie the Pooh for a long time, so this was just a perfect opportunity. Pooh was cut with 5", the tree branch with honey 3", and honey pot 3". Martha Stewart drippy goo punch was also used.

Pajama Day

Jessica often played with Michelle when she was 3. Since Jessica wore a Jasmine's pajama and Michelle wore a flower pajama, I have used Sonya's DCT cartridge again to cut out Jasmine and used some flower papers for the background.

Hippo gift bag

This is my first time creating a gift bag. It was really easy to make since I cut two hippos while I was making Annie's card. All I had to do was add the baby's name, "JT", on the bag. :)

Hippo card

After receiving a Hippo baby shower invitation from Annie, I was destined to make a hippo card for her baby. Maybe because I'm new at making the craft cards, it again took me forever to come up with the idea and to make this card.

We love Aladdin Show

This one took forever to make, but I like how it turned out. The Aladdin Show at the Disneyland is one of the best to watch. They did a real good job creating it. Genie was hilarious during the show, so I just had to include him on this page. He was one of the reason why it took forever to make as there were too much details. Eyes were the hardest part to cut and stick on. Although it's hard to see on these photos, I sanded the sides of the pictures to have the dreamy effect.
